The Tories and PR

People seem to assume that in coalition negotiations, David Cameron would never agree to PR.

I beg to differ. Assume that the LDs could get a majority of seats with either Labour or Conservative. In this case, Cameron knows he must either agree to a referendum on PR, or he is unlikely to become Prime Minister. And Cameron wants to be PM very very much indeed. I think he’d agree to just about anytihng he could get past his party to achieve this ambition.
