Absurd airport “security”

A man was forced to change his clothing at Heathrow Airport recently because he was wearing a T-shirt with a picture of a cartoon robot on it. The cartoon robot was holding a cartoon gun, which made it a security risk, apparently. Not only that, but the supervisor at security decided to be an arsehole and threatened to have the man arrested.

So what’s the fix for this? I think there needs to be a new law making it illegal for airport security to do this. So the next time a security drone treats a member of the public in a ridiculously overbearing and high-handed way, they lose their job and are forced to pay a £1000 fine.
