New version of Ubuntu for ultraportables

Mark Shuttleworth announces there will be a new version of Ubuntu specifically for ultraportables, such as the Asus Eee:

TG: Will you be coming out with a tailored version of Ubuntu for the ultraportable sector?

MS We’re announcing it in the first week of June. It’s called the Netbook Remix. We’re working with Intel, which produces chips custom-made for this sector.

This announcement has made the likelihood of me gettting an ultraportable go from “quite likely” to “almost certain”. Ubuntu is the main distro I use, as I find it’s the most productive version of Linux I’ve used. When I get an ultraportable, I’ll be running Ubuntu on it.
