Obama will win in 2012

I predict that Obama will be re-elected in 2012. Why? Because the Republicans have decided that stupidity is the way to win votes. Here’s the evidence…
Firstly many Republicans are saying, in effect, “we lost because we weren’t extreme enough“:
The plurality of GOP voters (43%) say their party has been too moderate over the past eight years, and 55% think it should become more like Alaska Governor Sarah Palin in the future, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Just 24% think failed presidential candidate John McCain is the best future model for the party, and 10% are undecided.
Newt Gingrich endorses Sarah Palin:
“If Sarah Palin seeks out a group of sophisticated policy advisers and spends time developing a series of fairly sophisticated positions,” Gingrich said during his 33rd visit to the Christian Science Monitor breakfast series, “she is very formidable.”
And Joe the Plumber becomes Joe the Economist:
The ubiquitous Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, aka “Joe the Plumber” and “Joe the War Correspondent,” will soon add a new moniker to his profile — “Joe the Economist.” Politico reports that House GOP congressional aides decided to invite Wurzelbacher to a meeting on the stimulus in hopes that it will attract some media attention.
